"Neem mijn hand"
Ga mee op een zintuiglijke verkenningstocht met het Sol Jang International Project. Een
internationaal trio gevormd door Sol Jang(Piano) met Jort Terwijn(Contrabas), en Max
Hering(Drum). Dit dynamische ensemble vermengt lyrische jazz, vrije improvisatie en
traditionele jazz harmonieën, en nodigt luisteraars uit in de eigen muzikale wereld van
Jang. Geboren in Seoul, en geïnspireerd door haar wereldwijde ervaringen, schept
Jang's composities levendige klanklandschappen. Met erkenning als drievoudige jazz competitie finalisten en wereldwijde optredens, is het Sol Jang International Project een
reis door geluid en emotie.
Het trio heeft al opgetreden in Nederland, Duitsland, de VS, Roemenië, Letland,
Marokko, Zuid-Korea en Hongarije.
Review: Sol Jang plays with a very high degree of technique on the piano. Bass and
drums are very tight, the song spaces produced allow for good interaction and afford the
trio a clear musical maturity on this straight ahead jazz that shows much passion and a
song structure whose chord schemes are woven with disciplined phrasing and at the
